EMILY MACARTHUR

Registered Massage Therapist / Owner

Emily is a high energy enthusiastic person who prides herself on providing every one of her clients with the best client-centered care possible. She likes to incorporate a lot of movement-based techniques in her practice in order to offer her patients the most efficient and effective care as well as rehabilitation for maximum benefit.

Emily graduated with honours with distinction from Eastern College in Moncton, NB. She has experience working with a varied patient base, including: elite athletes, post-operative patients, individuals with degenerative and neurological conditions, and prenatal patients.

 

Emily has training/certification in:

Clinical Cupping, Myofascial Release, Lymphatic Drainage, TMJ Dysfunction, Repetitive, Strain and Sprain Injuries, Chronic Pain, Joint Mobilization, Post-Surgical Scar Management, Constipation, Chronic head aches/migraines and Rapid NFR.

 

When Emily isn’t in her clinical practice, she is continuously learning. Investing her time in continuous education means that she stays informed on new developments and patient management strategies in the field of massage therapy.

 

In Emily’s spare time she enjoys travelling, hiking with her dogs spending time with her friends and family enjoying every aspect of life.

LINDSAY ARSENAULT

Registered Massage Therapist

Lindsay Arsenault, Registered Massage Therapist has 22 years experience in the field of massage therapy. She graduated from ICT Northumberland College Halifax campus in June of 2002.

 

She specializes in deep tissue massage treatments, focusing on chronic conditions to help alleviate signs and symptoms, pain, as well as PTSD.

There are many conditions that can be treated by massage therapy. Migraines/headaches, arthritis, fibromyalgia, diabetes, or any chronic pain conditions with secondary conditions associated with it.

HALLIE MACKAY

Registered Massage Therapist

Hallie is a bright and bubbly young woman with a passion for helping people. That passion mixed with her love of health and fitness is ultimately what lead her to a career in Massage Therapy.

 

She graduated from the Massage Therapy Program at Eastern College in 2021 and has since been successful in treating things like stress, everyday aches, and pains as well as chronic conditions. Hallie most commonly uses deep tissue and relaxation techniques in her practice, but varies her techniques based on individual client needs.

 

In her free time Hallie likes to keep her mind sharp by learning, Body healthy with exercise and of course spending time with her friends.

CARLEIGH BIGGAR

Registered Massage Therapist 

Carleigh is a recent honours graduate from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in Halifax Nova Scotia.

 

She has spent time working with patients with a variety of musculoskeletal conditions, neurological conditions, as well as working with systemic conditions to give patients the most client specific treatment possible.During her studies, Carleigh also thoroughly enjoyed her time spent treating patients in the manor.

 

Carleigh has done courses in cupping as well as gua sha since completing her program and looks forward to including them in treatments.

 

On her own time she enjoys spending time outside, especially on the water, with her family, friends and dogs!

KRYSTI DESCHENE

Traditional Chinese Medicine & Acupuncturist 

Krysti is a graduate of the Canadian College of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese medicine and a member of the Canadian Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture Association. She found her love for traditional Chinese medicine in 2019 after years of researching and implementing alternative medicine for her own health and well being.

To her, Chinese medicine is rich in natural wisdom, creativity, and endless possibilities for healing. She believes that viewing a person as a whole, rather than individual and separate parts, will lead to empowerment and insight for all who practice and receive this medicine.

GREG PORTER

Regenerative Health Practitioner

Clinical PEMF Specialist

Greg Porter is a regenerative health practitioner specializing in advanced Clinical PEMF therapy, nervous system regulation, and root-cause restoration.

With training in Lifestyle Medicine through Harvard Medical School and extensive experience working with regenerative technologies, Greg supports individuals facing complex and chronic conditions that have not fully responded to conventional care.

His work focuses on restoring cellular function, improving neurological regulation, reducing inflammation, and accelerating recovery at a foundational level.

Greg commonly works with clients experiencing:

    •    Concussions and post-concussion symptoms

    •    Chronic pain and injury recovery

    •    Nervous system dysregulation

Danika Campbell

Physiotherapist

Danika completed her Bachelor of Kinesiology at UNB in 2021 and went on to earn her Master of Physiotherapy from Dalhousie University in 2023. Since then, she has continued to expand her skillset with advanced training in:

• Stroke care

• Vestibular & dizziness rehabilitation

• Concussion management

• Diagnostic imaging, including the authority to order X-rays

 

Danika is passionate about patient-centered care, focusing on helping you feel your best, move better, and get back to doing what you love.

 

Her approach combines evidence-based treatment with a personalized plan tailored to your goals — whether you’re recovering from injury, managing pain, or improving overall function.

Dr. Bryan Berk

Chiropractor

Bryan is originally from Baddeck, Nova Scotia. He graduated from Baddeck Academy, then went on to Cape Breton University, where he completed a BSc with a double major in Biology and Psychology, before moving to Toronto to earn his Doctor of Chiropractic from CMCC.

Bryan has an impressive background in athletics and sports care. While at CBU, he served as the student athletic trainer for both the men's and woman's varsity soccer teams, helping support teams that brought home gold and silver at nationals in 2017 & 2018. He was also the trainer for the Cape Breton Highlanders NBL team in 2018-2019.

Most recently, Dr. Berk has been the medical trainer for the Kensington Wild, who have been provincial champions for the past 3 years.

Dr. Kiera Coombs

Chiropractor 

Kiera and has a strong passion for health, movement and one's well-being! Over the years she has built a foundation on rehabilitation through the bridge program with Ontario Tech University's Kinesiology degree  and The Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, Doctor of Chiropractic degree. Her background as a past competitive swimmer and working with the Ontario Tech Women's soccer team as a student athletic trainer intern in 2021-2022 has shaped her commitment to optimizing human performance and mobility. Through all this Kiera developed practical rehabilitation and patient-care skills that she has been able to integrate into her chiropractic career focused on evidence-based, patient-centered care.

"In my free time I enjoy spending it with my friends and family, playing sports or watching the Toronto Blue Jays! Since completing school in Ontario I am excited to begin the next chapter to my professional journey in Prince Edward Island! I'm looking forward to being a part of the community and helping patients of any age improve their quality of life

Summerside Integrative Care Clinic was born out of a need to provide integrative and complementary care to patients in Summerside, PE and the surrounding areas. 

SICC brings together a group of diverse practitioners who bring wellness into the lives of each patient they see.
